Paraire was proud of being Māori and passionate about learning and challenging the norm by inspiring change across the cultural and clinical divide.
He was a friend, teacher, supervisor, mentor, family therapist and innovator of Māori frameworks of practice such as the Pōwhiri Poutama, Rangi Matrix, Te Ariari o te Oranga, Kaupapa Supervision and many others.
He was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather and was chuffed he still had the gift of asking the right questions!
His legacy lives on through his whānau and the many lives he touched through his teachings.
